Agrokomplex - Nitra - Slovakia

The task on this project was the creation and development of different scenarios that can occur on an agrokomplex site in the middle of Nitra - Slovakia. The topic that attracted the most attention among others was the idea of food production in the future. How is this going to work, and how should a productive landscape look like were the starting point questions in this whole process. The project suggested a multifunctional extension of an existing entree building of an agrokomplex to create a special type of architectural hybrid - a utopia station. From this point, several corridors occur on the location and have different functions - energy production, food production, and green / blue corridors. The existing square in the middle of a complex becomes a new focal point in the neighborhood.

The food corridors as a topic define different types of food production that can happen in the future. Drone stations, Co2 neutral delivery, aquaponics and hydroponics, sponge city systems, and many other measurements are just a tiny part of the future Agrokomplex in Nitra.
